Three days later, the results came out.

Wang Nian's two papers were either published in a publication she paid for or ghostwritten. The national award certificate was genuine, but that was because her submitted materials included these two fabricated papers, and the reviewers did not carefully verify them.

Those involved were disciplined, and Shen Jianming personally submitted an explanation and self-criticism to the school. He also issued an announcement revoking Wang Nian's postgraduate recommendation qualification and restoring her original ranking order.

When Gu Suining received the call from her counselor, she was completely stunned.
