Chapter 38 Leorio x Kurapika x Duo Chapter
Chapter 38 Leorio x Kurapika x Duo Chapter
After walking into the small restaurant with Kurapika, Leorio waved to the waiter and said relaxedly, "Two people."
The waiter looked between the two slowly: "Do you want to sit in a quieter place or by the window?"
"Just by the window." Kurapika replied immediately.
Leorio sighed and lowered the arm that was on Kurapika's shoulder: "As he said, the place by the window."
The waiter pointed them to the table in front: "You can choose any one, there are not many diners tonight, I will give you the menu later. Do you need water?"
"Thank you." Kurapika said, walking to one of the tables and sitting on the booth, Leori sat across from the boy.The waiter then brought two glasses of water and handed them the menu card. "Thank you." Kurapika opened the menu. He looked at the menu so he didn't have to look at Leorio. He knew they were going to have a serious conversation, but he really didn't know how to say it.Leorio put down the menu, and Kurapika quickly glanced at the dish he wanted to eat, and then put down the menu as well. The waiter came over to take their order, and Kurapika twirled the water glass with both hands.
When the waiter left and walked into the kitchen, Leorio reached out and grabbed Kurapika by one finger. "Kurapika," he said, and the boy looked up and tried to push away, Leorio sighed, "Don't do that. Come on, give me your hand."
"I'd rather not do that," Kurapika said uncomfortably.
"You don't trust me anymore?" Leori asked, looking downcast, Kurapika sighed and held out his hand. "Thank you." Leorio said, putting his hand on the other's back: "Do you still remember what happened in Youkexin City?" He asked.
"Leorio..." Kurapika said slowly.
"No, listen to me, Kurapika," the doc-to-be said, "Trust me and pander to me a little. Do you remember when I kissed you?" Kurapika nodded. "Then do you remember what I said to you afterwards?"
The boy nodded again: "I said, now is really not a good time to talk about such things, Leorio."
"I know." Leo insisted.
Kurapika paused, wondering what his friend was trying to say.Leorio looked at each other patiently, so Kurapika continued the topic just now: "Too many things really happened in these few months."
"is that so?"
Kurapika sighed, "Leorio..."
"Tell me about it." Leorio said again.
Kurapika lowered his head. "These months are..." he began, "I thought the spiders were dead, so I said the Phantom Troupe is gone, but I still need to retrieve the eyes of the people and bring them back to Luxor."
"Do you have to do this?"
Kurapika licked his lips slowly. "No one would do it ----- no one could."
"I know," said Leorio, "but do you have to do it?"
"Must." Kurapika continued, "Then I saw your face and I said----Leori, I like you. I didn't even hesitate for a moment, but there's really too much going on right now gone."
Leorio nodded and said, "I know," he sighed, "I know you made a promise to your people, I just wish everything was different."
"Yes," Kurapika said sadly, his voice as sad as his heart: "Me too."
"When everything is done -----" Leorio said.
Kurapika immediately interrupted the other party as if in Youkexin City: "Let's wait and see, I'll take you back to the hotel now."
"I grabbed your hand, and -----" Leorio said as if he shook hands in the hotel lobby a few months ago: "And then I kissed the back of your hand." He put Kurapika's Bring the hand to the mouth.
Kurapika moved his fingers, "Leori..."
"And then you kissed me." Leori continued, putting Kurapika's hand back on the table: "Did I miss something?" Kurapika didn't want to talk, so he just shook his head. "Did you notice something was missing?"
Kurapika sighed, "You know what you just said is all that happened."
"That's not what I meant, Kurapika." Leorio insisted, and the boy looked up at him. "Did you notice that something was missing?" Leori asked again, Kurapika frowned and slowly shook his head, Leori leaned forward and looked into the boy's eyes: "We didn't make any promises."
"What?" Kurapika didn't know what he expected the other party to say, but it was definitely not the answer he expected.
"We didn't make a promise, or anything like that, Kurapika," Leorio said. "So please, please ----- stop looking at me like that."
"How am I looking at you?" Kurapika wondered what Leori meant.
"Like you let me down." Leorio sat back in the chair, one arm stretched back on the back of the chair. "Because you didn't," he said after a pause before continuing, "You didn't disappoint me."
Kurapika bit his lip.So, Leorio knew, of course he knew.Even with all the stupid things he did, Leorio wasn't an idiot. "Sorry." Kurapika said softly.
Leorio waved his hand casually: "Don't do this." He paused, looked at Kurapika quietly for a while, and then said, "Just promise me one thing."
Kurapika looked up at Leorio, "What do you want me to promise?"
"If in the future, I mean, any time in the future ----- you change your mind, you call me, you hear me?"
"Unless you promise me one thing in advance -----" Kurapika said.
"Anything!" Leorie said immediately.
"----don't wait for me." Kurapika said, looking straight into his friend's eyes, the boy was saying something very important.
"W----what?" Leorio blinked, "Don't wait for you? But---"
"I'm serious, Leorio." Kurapika said, "Don't wait for me. I may never have the chance to be with you. If you find someone you like, you should go after him."
"But -----" Leorio began to protest.
"Promise me," the boy insisted.
"What exactly does that mean?" Leorio frowned, his eyes eagerly watching Kurapika's face.
Kurapika lowered his eyes, hoping his face didn't start to turn red: "I mean it, Leori, promise me, or I'll reject you ----- right now."
"Okay, okay," Leorio immediately surrendered, "I promise you."
"Thank you," Kurapika said, somewhat relieved. At this moment, the waiter brought up the dishes ordered by the two of them, and they waited patiently for the waiter to leave before continuing the conversation just now. "Right now," Kurapika said, "I need my friends ----- just friends. Can you stay by my side as my friend?"
"No problem." Leorio said, although his pained expression was clearly visible on his face, he took some time to calm down, Kurapika looked away, giving him time to calm down. "Of course no problem," said Kurapika's friend, "I can do it."
"Thank you," Kurapika said softly, and he cleared his throat. "So," the boy continued, his tone lighter than before, "tell me about what happened in medical school."
Seeming a bit lost, Leorio took a while to tell Kurapika an anecdote about medical school, saying that he was once out of town with friends, but somehow ended up being pulled to the police station at 3am.Leori told one story after another, and Kurapika found that he couldn't help laughing a few times because of the absurd content. He was terrified of putting some distance away from Leorio, but it was for the best.No matter what happened between him and Kuroro, it was the best choice to keep the quasi-medical student in front of him out of it.
This idea has been haunting Kurapika for the next few days ----- the relationship with his friends is not what he can't forget, but the idea related to Kuroro ----- that, "Whether he What happened to Kuroro?"Kurapika had no idea what was going on between them. It's very confusing, very scary, very impossible. It must have the attraction and the chemistry of physical contact, but isn't there really something else?lust? If it was really that simple, Kurapika could easily refuse directly. No, it has more of an element, it's more like obsession.During the time Kurapika stayed with his friends, the thought of "moths jumping into a flame and eventually being burned to death" came to the boy's mind more than once.
On Friday, Kurapika went to the library one more time.On Saturday, the four of them went to visit the carnival held in the city together.Sunday is sightseeing in the city, shopping in different places, but most of the time is wandering around in the city.On Monday, Kurapika went to the library again, and it felt good to be alone.
On Tuesday morning, Gang said he was looking for someone to go fishing with.Kurapika had no interest in fishing, so he brought a book he bought on a Sunday outing with friends. As the boy walked out the door, his phone vibrated, and Kurapika glanced at the screen -- May 5, and frowned.
"Is there a problem?" Leorio asked.
"It's okay." Kurapika said shaking his head. After they walked out of the hotel, they went to the waterfront in the town, where the four of them stayed all day.Around noon, Leori and Kurapika bought lunch for everyone.Every hour, Kurapika would pull out his phone to look at the screen, then put it back in his pocket with a frown. He didn't really want to call Kuroro, it wasn't like he had made up his mind.He was a little curious as to why the spider boss asked him to dial back today, but that didn't mean Kurapika needed to.Kurapika and Gang had dinner out, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but smile because of Gang and Kiya's prank. He caught Leorio looking at him several times, but he couldn't bring himself to feel guilty.Kurapika is determined to cooperate with the spider, and he wants the eyes of the tribe to be sent back to Luxor.
After dinner, the four returned to the hotel.Chiya inserted his favorite DVD movie into the player.Kurapika has no interest in movies, but he stays with his friends.Gang and Qiya's comments on the movie are more interesting than the movie itself. When the ending song started playing, Kurapika went back to the room first. After closing the door, he took out his mobile phone and glanced at the screen. It was almost 10 o'clock in the evening.
He's not going to call, he's not.
Kurapika put the phone back in his pocket, walked to the bed, sighed and lay down on the bed.He pulls out his phone again and stares at the screen, it's never too late to call, right? The boy threw the phone on the bed.Ah, but Kuroro usually stays up all night, doesn't he?He picks up his phone -- ah, damn it.
When Kurapika dialed the number and the phone rang for the first time, he clenched the phone next to his ear so hard that the bases of his fingers turned white-----When the second ring rang, he bit his lower lip-- ---His heels tap the floor nervously on the third ring-----The call connects, and Kurapika's body froze-----
"Kurapika." Kuroro's voice was low and calm, and Kurapika found himself relaxing. "Great to hear you calling."
"Ah, yes." Kurapika didn't know what he should say, "You asked me to call today so..." He lifted his foot and took off his shoes, the boy's legs crossed on the bed.Kuroro smiled softly, the low chuckle from the other side of the phone seemed to tickle Kurapika's mind, but the boy wasn't ready to figure out what that meant. "Okay," Kurapika paused, then continued, "I'll call you now."
"I'm glad you did." Kuroro said, "Have you had a good day?"
"Uh, happy." Kurapika cleared his throat. "It's nice to be with friends."
"Are all three of them there?" the spider leader asked, which made Kurapika frown in confusion.
"Yes," he said after a while, "all three are here."
"Including the medical student?"
Kurapika paused. "Yes, of course." The boy finally said, "Leorio is here too." He paused again and said, "Why do you ask?"
"Just curious," Kuroro said, and Kurapika wasn't 100% convinced of his explanation: "Glad you had a good time there."
Kurapika didn't know how to respond, so he didn't speak, and silence spread between the two of them. The vibe at this point should be weird -- but it doesn't, it doesn't feel that way anymore. "What about you?" Kurapika finally said.
"Oh," Kuroro said softly, "I'm kind of dull, so I go out and visit ----- do things like that."
This answer made the boy frown slightly: "Are you...uh, to 'possess' something that doesn't belong to you?"
Kuroro chuckled again, seriously, he shouldn't be able to make Kurapika's heart beat faster with just that sound. "Yes, I did," he said, and Kurapika could hear his smile, and the boy's brows furrowed even tighter."Of course I did," Kurolo said. "I couldn't just sit around and do nothing. So I went around and got back five pairs of red eyes, now I have 5 pairs."
"Oh." Suddenly, Kurapika felt stupid for thinking that Kuroro stole the collection casually: "I uh---"
"Don't say it just yet," Kuroro said, still in a cheerful tone. "Your assumption is not unreasonable." Then there was a silence between the two of them for a while, and Kurapika thought about whether he should respond, but the spider The leader said, "When are you coming back?"
The provocative feeling in his heart came again, which made the boy frown, and Kuroro didn't get the answer right away. He's just controlling himself, even knowing he's going back eventually, it's still messing with Kurapika's head. "Next week," he said, "I'll send you the flight number and arrival time after I buy the ticket."
"Okay," Kuroro said.
"Why did you ask me to call you today?" Kurapika asked.
"It's nothing," the man on the other end of the phone replied easily, "I just feel that way."
"You're a liar," Kurapika said, but without anger.
Kuroro smiled slightly. "I'm glad to hear from you." He paused for a moment, then continued, "Well, I hope you enjoy the week ahead and I look forward to hearing from you , have fun."
"You too." Kurapika said reflexively.
"Oh, I've always been like this," Kuroro replied, and the call was hung up.
Kurapika threw the phone on the bed and fell onto the bed. It's all messed up, but he knows what to do now -- he knows what he's going to do to Kuroro -- to Redeye, to the spiders, everything just leads Kurapika Go to only one question -----
Is he strong enough?

Post a (hope someone reads) announcement here:
In this chapter, Kurapika’s trip (?) is finally over. This part can be said to be the first turning point of the whole article. Kurapika’s anger from the beginning has become confused, chatting with friends+ After relaxing + thinking alone, both Kuroro and Kurapika got some time and space to think about each other and their own situation. After figuring it out, the relationship will further heat up, and the plot finally has an ending ----- It feels like I have entered the main article (Kulolo: Planning to pass), it will be a trial stage before the 50th chapter, and it will only be after the 50th chapter, so readers can choose to fatten up the article (I won’t tell you that it’s fine) It's the pre///play that will also be very interesting)
In the future (maybe) the update pace will be stepped up, but first make an appointment for all the little angels to give it to me at 8:[-] every morning ----- meet at Lofter on time and read the latest chapter!
Next, I will give you a brief introduction of chapters 38 to 50 (also known as arousing everyone's appetite):
1 Return of Kurapika
2 Well, after the comeback, the couple will have (fake ooxx) affairs soon
3 Kurapika no longer evades x Kuroro's willpower is about to be destroyed
