Chapter 21 Gui Water Transforms into a Dragon, Xuan Sha Annihilates the Soul
Chapter 21 Gui Water Transforms into a Dragon, Xuan Sha Annihilates the Soul
Xu Changqing pressed down with his right palm, and his vital energy flowed like a river of stars, condensing into a starlight barrier a foot or so in front of him.
"boom!"
The shockwave struck the barrier, producing a deafening roar like muffled thunder.
The starlight flickered violently, its brightness uncertain, causing Xu Changqing to momentarily freeze, a trickle of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. But he used the momentum to somersault in the air, avoiding the subsequent force, his speed increasing rather than decreasing.
He swiftly raised his left hand, fingers spread wide, and aimed it at the Black Wind King's bear-like face, which was contorted with rage, making a loose grasp.
"Fear of the heart, illusion of the star map."
The illusory destiny energy surged out wildly, rapidly tracing mysterious paths in the air.
In an instant, a miniature, constantly rotating, dark star map suddenly unfolded before the Black Wind King's eyes.
Within the star map, countless distorted, wailing, and struggling faces of vengeful spirits are the lingering resentments of the living beings that Black Wind has devoured and slaughtered over the years.
The Black Wind King's giant copper bell eyes suddenly widened. It remembered some of those faces, and had long forgotten others, but now they were incredibly clear, carrying the despair and curses of those on the verge of death, rushing towards it.
"No...get away!"
Its soul was already injured, and now it was being devoured by its own sins. Its mind was suddenly dazed, as if a million steel needles were piercing it at the same time, and its protective demonic energy was also flickering.
In Xu Changqing's eyes, the black wind and death machine appeared one after another. The Gui Shui Jue Hun Bai Gu Yu hairpin on his head rang out again and turned into a pale white stream of light that leaped into his palm.
"go."
Xu Changqing pointed his fingers and poured his magic power into the jade hairpin without reservation. The hairpin shone brightly and its shape suddenly changed, transforming into a ferocious water dragon whose entire body was interwoven with the aura of white bones and dark Gui water.
The dragon's head was bared in fury, its fangs bared, and two flickering black flames burned in its eye sockets.
The dragon's body meanders, formed by countless fine needles of Gui water energy, creating a balance between the real and the illusory.
The water dragon let out a silent roar, and with a flick of its tail, it pounced on the Black Wind King's chest. Its mouth opened wide, spewing out thick, ink-black, and bone-chilling Xuan Sha Gui Water energy.
The Black Wind King roared, his palms covered with thick, iron-like demonic power, and slammed them down on the dragon's head.
"Clang!" A loud sound like metal clashing against metal rang out, sparks flying everywhere.
The water dragon's body rippled, scattering many of the Gui Water needles, but they instantly gathered again. With a twist of its body, it flowed like mercury onto the ground, winding its way up the Black Wind King's thick arm.
Countless water needles, like living creatures, sought out the source of the malfunction.
"Ugh—!"
Black Wind King felt countless icy needles flowing backward along the meridians of his arm, rushing straight to his brain and piercing into his soul. This intense pain was indescribable.
Its demonic power erupted, scattering a large amount of Gui water energy, but the Gui water energy scattered and then gathered again, like a maggot clinging to a bone.
At the same time, the Illusionary Demon Bell in Xu Changqing's sleeve moved automatically without wind, and the illusory destiny energy condensed into an extremely sharp "soul-capturing shriek" that pierced straight into the sea of consciousness, accurately targeting the location of the Black Wind King's death.
The Black Wind King's body trembled violently, and amidst the madness and rage in his eyes, a clear trace of fear finally flashed.
Xu Changqing's face was as pale as paper, but his eyes were sharp as knives, showing no sign of wavering.
He knew that the opportunity was fleeting. Hei Feng's cultivation was close to Foundation Establishment, and his demonic power far surpassed his own. Once Hei Feng recovered from the series of attacks, he would be the one to perish.
"roar!"
The Black Wind King unleashed his most primal, ferocious instincts, disregarding the entangled Gui Water Dragon. His demonic power surged wildly towards his throat, his massive maw opening wide, black light surging within, brewing his innate demonic technique, the Black Wind Howl.
Xu Changqing urged his thoughts frantically, and the entangled Gui Water Dragon suddenly disintegrated, instantly splitting into countless forms.
Countless pale bone needles, shattered ice crystals, twisted water blades, and chilling malevolent energy... like a reverse-swept blizzard, or like an exploding lotus flower of death, completely enveloped the Black Wind King's enormous head.
Each attack carries the power of Xuan Sha Jue Hun, avoiding its hardest skull and targeting the very spot where it dies.
A large amount of Gui water energy surged in through its gaping maw, directly flooding its internal organs, and then erupted with a roar.
The Black Wind King's massive body exploded from the inside. Blood and flesh flew everywhere, and bone fragments scattered. Its entire chest, abdomen, and head were blasted into a mangled mess of blood and flesh, with thick, dark red fluid spraying several meters away.
Smoke and blood mist mingled together, and a pungent stench permeated the entire cave.
Even so, Hei Feng was not completely dead. Within that mass of rotten flesh, countless tiny flesh buds were wriggling.
Pink, bright red, and dark purple buds emerged from between the broken bone fragments, writhing, coiling, and intertwining wildly like hundreds of thin snakes.
The shattered tissues came together, pulled back together by granulation tissue, and the broken bones made a teeth-grinding cracking sound as they regrowed and healed at a visible speed.
Black Wind King's physical body had been blown to pieces, but his vitality was still terrifyingly vigorous. The fleshy buds grew so wildly that it was as if each piece of flesh had its own independent will, vying to piece itself back together into a complete form.
Xu Changqing remained expressionless, raised his hand and formed a hand seal. The white bone hairpin transformed into dozens of pale bone needles, each carrying the power of Xuan Sha Jue Hun, and they were driven into the most active buds of flesh one by one.
The bone needle pierced the flesh, causing the granulation tissue to twitch violently before withering, turning black, and turning to ash. The rotten flesh finally sank into silence, devoid of any life.
Once the mountain wind swept away the dust, the scene before us was completely different.
The once majestic main peak of Black Wind Mountain was forcibly erased by half, leaving only a pitch-black crater hundreds of feet in circumference and bottomless.
Directly above the giant crater, an indescribable mass was wriggling.
It was a giant sphere formed by the forced gathering of countless demon flesh and bones after they were completely shattered by the explosion and then gathered together by the killing ritual.
It slowly rotated, its surface viscous and scarlet, with the outlines of severed limbs or heads undulating and struggling inside, only to be quickly devoured and merged, emitting a nauseatingly sweet and fishy smell and an aura of despair, like a pill being refined.
The chaotic spiritual energy of heaven and earth after the explosion did not dissipate. Instead, it was drawn by Xu Changqing and transformed into a gray-black dragon of malevolent energy. This malevolent energy was viscous like paste, flowing silently. Wherever it passed, the remaining vegetation withered and turned black instantly, and the rocks lost their luster, as if all life had been drained away.
At the bottom of the pit, Old Huang's huge, twisted body was now mangled beyond recognition, with most of his body missing, revealing rotting flesh inside that was indistinguishable between internal organs and overgrown tissue.
Even so, it remained as tenacious as the vine, tightly entwining the Centipede Boy and the Painted Skin Lady.
The centipede boy's colorful clothes had long since turned to ashes, revealing his true form underneath, which was swollen and covered with pustules and charred marks. He was tightly strangled by the weasel's remains, having endured the entire explosion. His joints were broken, and black blood mixed with the corpses of tiny poisonous insects kept oozing from his mouth, nose, and ears. His eyes were unfocused, and only a "hoarse" sound of air leaking from his throat could be heard.
The Painted Skin Lady was even more tragic. She was an inanimate object with a spirit, relying on a wisp of evil demonic soul to maintain her carefully preserved beautiful corpse skin.
The explosive storm that pierced straight to the depths of her soul swept over her, and she couldn't even let out a complete scream. The charm that flowed in her eyes froze completely, dimmed, and finally turned into two turbid ash masses.
Her slender body swayed, then she fell straight backward, crashing onto the cold stone ground with a dull thud.
The bright red dress was still vibrant, but inside it was a completely lifeless, cold female corpse, devoid of any spirit.
